H5P

Drag and drop activities allow learners to visually connect different elements and understand how they are related. They can be an engaging alternative to multiple-choice questions for testing knowledge on a topic.

This drag and drop is meant to be part of a library instructional tutorial. With this activity students can check their learning of the standard components of an academic article.

Instructions: Drag and drop the provided words onto the correct areas of the image to label the various components of an academic journal article.

I could probably improve the above activity by:

  1. Adjusting the background image for sharpness: Using the cropping feature inside the H5P may have caused the image to blur slightly
  2. Splitting the image into a top and bottom half and displaying them horizontally rather than vertically: Landscape layout would work better for this activity
  3. Adjusting the typography and background colour of the draggable elements (if that is possible)

I would also like to explore the other available types of H5P drag and drop activities.

The accordion content type is useful for displaying text where vertical space is limited. It also gives users the option to choose the level of text they want to read.

I would like to improve the accordion below by changing the fonts, font weights, and sizes. I could probably do that with CSS.
